So we can assume safely, Price will come to some Selling pressure on XD Date .... And you may be able to catch few shares below ...

dont think so 38.2% (97.60Rs )will come as thats the maxxa it could come assuming FIB technicals and Patterns are respected and CMP is at 101 Bidders waiting to Grab. :ymhug:
cdb.png

Another retracement FIB levels would a BULLISH 23.6%, thats assuming CMP will move towards 103 and then we expect on XD date Rs 3.50 Drop ;;)

So either way, pay close attention if you are a CDB Lover :ugeek:

Thanks Shark for the charts !

CDB has been quite slow in moving / disappointing.

This was the case some time back as well - where it was idling for a very long time and suddenly started moving up very fast once it became extremely undervalued.

Bartleet Religare Securities Earning Review - Q2 FY 16

Vehicle duty hikes trimming forecasts : HOLD

"CDB reported an EPS of LKR 3.78 (+18.5% YoY) for the quarter on NII expansion and lower impairment. CDB disbursed LKR 2.5bn per month during the quarter and we expect the growth to slow down in our forecast period. We have cut monthly gross loan disbursements to LKR 2bn from the current LKR 2.5bn (-20%) for FY 2017E and 2018E on the back of (1) rising rate scenario (2) decrease in Loan to Value (LTV) ratio (3) increase in motor car and three wheeler prices due to change in valuation and duty hike. We lower the target price of CDB due to profit downgrade coupled with increase in risk free rates. Our target price for CDB voting is LKR 103 and for the non voting share LKR 82. HOLD "

CDB’s specialized leasing subsidiary renamed Unisons Capital Leasing

Citizens Development Business Finance PLC (CDB) made its first acquisition in its 20 year history last year when it acquired 86.26% stake in Laugfs Capital Limited, a specialized leasing company registered under the Finance Leasing Act. The company has been renamed Unisons Capital Leasing Limited (UCL) and intends to aggressively expand its business, focusing on identified strategic business segments and markets.

Commenting on the intended strategy of Unisons Capital Leasing Ltd (UCL), Director/CEO Karthik Elangovan elaborated the company's intention of penetrating market segments that its parent CDB does not strategically focus upon. He further elaborated that UCL's intention is to operate a low cost business model, where it will use CDB's well-established distribution network across the country and a shared services framework for centralized services within a group structure, coupled with exploring digital space to the optimum.

Karthik, a Graduate of University of Sri Jayewardenepura in Business Administration and a Chartered Marketer with a MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), joined CDB in 2004 as Assistant Manager - Marketing when CDB's balance sheet was approximately Rs 1 Bn. Rising the ranks, he was a member of the corporate management team and held the position of Senior Deputy General Manager - Marketing at CDB prior to being appointed as the Director/ CEO of Unisons Capital Leasing Ltd (UCL).

Non-Executive chairman Roshan Abeygoonewardena, who is also the COO/ Executive Director at CDB stated that the company will take a path of organic growth during the next three years, exploring maximum synergies as a subsidiary company of CDB, with intentions of listing on the CSE.
