Buying around 52w low is less risky for good counters largely.

need to spread the buying if you are avid TJL investor, as no clear trending visible. buy with extra caution. as indicators in a prolonged oversold phase on the weekly time frame. there could be more play as suggested elsewhere by sashi owing to higher raw material prices at commodity markets.

monthly RSI is around 40s, can this go further down ?

TJL on monthly chart looks like on a free fall, as no immediate interest to reduce the downward pressure.

am taking down smaller targets .... say 30 for the time being, and take it from there... mmmm hindsight suggest there could be more play below these levels.....

therefore it would be very wise to spread your averaging/buying.

good luck

from the highs of 47 to 32 thats a decline of 15Rs, it seems now the bears are loosing the steam after seeing the march monthly closing candle. the end of the bear run is nearing technically. lets hope its original target 30 is reached and we see some consolidation there after. this will give clear supports and resistance levels for us to look at.

Thanks Shark, IMO 47 can be ignore as we need to analyze current situation. anywhere closed to 30 is my best entry. This is only my personal view about TJL because I'm with different strategy for year 2018. ( my friends are buying this level because they sold at higher level)

Sri Lankan apparel stands to gain from US-China trade spat
The apparel industry, which is Sri Lanka’s leading export revenue earner, is set to gain fresh impetus from the U.S.
market in the coming months, as American garment importers look for producers outside China due to the increasing
threat of a trade war between the two economic giants. “Because of the U.S.-China trade war, some of the U.S.
apparel importers who were sourcing their products from China are coming to Sri Lanka,” Sri Lanka Apparel
Exporters Association President Felix Fernando told Mirror Business. In this context, Fernando said that some of the
members of the Sri Lanka Apparel Exporters Association have already been approached by top U.S. clothing buyers to
partially manufacture some of the orders currently being serviced by China. “We don’t have the economies of scale
that China has to deliver the size of orders China receives. So we will produce partial orders, around 20% of regular
order sizes, while other countries like Bangladesh and Vietnam which have cheaper costs will produce the rest,”
Fernando said. The U.S. currently sources approximately one third of its apparel imports from China, and just 2.4%
from Sri Lanka. (dailymirror.lk)

This is a good opportunity if the rulers see this clearly and do the correct think. Lot of jobs can be created as well. But I highly doubt that whether this can be even thought of by them.
