We need to wait till next two quarters if they are exciting .... :ymhug: Any how I dont have any problem of holding as long as Divident policy unchanged.

There will be a day for TJL hopefully next year (TJL is the foundation of my Portfolio it will remain for some time because until now management never let down investors)

This is my personal views and I might be wrong. :-!

I remember what I wrote under this thread somewhere january this year.

Agreed.due to that reason we may witness foreign selling in coming quarters

I expect a similar patten like what what we witnessed in LLUB.High dividend ,foreigners choice ,good market.but when it drops ...feel Rs 34 is a good pick if we have a mid term target.

Last time it bounced back @ Rs. 36/-. Closing on that level. Will it act as a support this time around?

weekly candle indicate possible further downside towards 33.50-35.50.

so those waiting for right opportune time should monitor the weekly price action and take positions accordingly.

TJL with a Bullish GP.

Turnaround (possible) is @34.50

Sell below 30

Profit target 47

here is the harmonic price pattern.

“Continued struggle with margins to end with stabilized cotton yarn prices” - FC estimate FV 47 - STRONG BUY

https://www.firstcapital.lk/wp-content/ ... 1-2017.pdf

Stabilized Raw material prices to favour the margins: Cotton prices stabilized towards the 2H2017 and continued into October. With the USA harvest currently ranks as the 5th biggest of all-time while India is projected to collect its second largest harvest on record while other exporting countries are
expected to increase their cotton production, the price of cotton yarn is expected to stabilize.

TJL showed signs of recovery in last quarter report.Next quarter will be a very good one as December quarter is usually a good quarter for TJL
I expect a revenue for next December quarter to be around 6.8-7 Bn with a PAT of 440Mn.
Any guesses guys?

if you were able to buy 35 at the bottom, can target 40-39 easily in my opinion. LT hold may produce better gains.

Agree with BW....

Too early to predict at this stage. Better be careful.........

Present earnings doesn't support the current share price. This is highly overvalued to me.....

Actually foreigners have sold 380,000++ shares last week.

My advice is for investors not for technical traders please. Tech people can take positions as per tech but on fundamental side it’s overvalued for me as per its current earnings.

Dear SH, Some shares trade low P.E most of the time. See what happens apla. You have forecasted no. of shares correctly and most of us got benifit and thanks for it.
Anyway you got wrong with apla and ccs. Your choice was apla over ccs due to your feeling of overvalued ccs. But now see where is ccs and apla.
Therefore I think saying tjl is overvalued is not right as per my view. Anyway I may be terribly wrong..

Dear matrix

I may be terribly wrong as well. What every body should understand is we do predictions only based on industry, company, sector performances etc.....

All predictions should follow with performances of each company. If not temporary it will not work. That is the reality.

When it comes to APLA all know what has happened . It is purely beyond company control. Skyrocketing of copper prices in world mkt affects company all of a sudden. Same thing has happened TEC favored Aluminium sector as well.

You missed one prediction of mine which terribly went other way. ALUF ......Even at the very beginning I informed that ALUF has something wrong when they presented the wrong reports in one Q.But people got the chance to sell it latter when it peaked around Rs44 levels after the incident.

All know the share holding structure of CCS. It is completely difference from APLA. All JKH top subs are in top 20. Even CCS reported losses in couple of Q share price will not come down due to this factor.

APLA from the very beginning there was a seller by the name of JINS. They continuously sold to the mkt. Thoese are the differences of each shares & you should understand that very well.

Why BFN is going up with losses is the same side of the coin friend.

I don’t expect people to follow me or anybody inTEC coz when it goes the other way we used to get these types of treats.

No body can predict the mkt or shares. Just go through all the threads & u can observe it. Not only my predictions all most all people’s predictions have gone wrong in particular shares.

You should have mentioned your views on TJL without digging in to unwanted issues professionally.

Again I’m telling TJL is overvalued to me that’s all & mind u that there are people waiting to sell it as well.

Hmm .... Since you guys are discussing about one of my favorites.
Why people like to invest in Shares is my question....
People rally behind companies that pay good dividends when their earnings are good.
TJL is one such company.
Investors pay premium to own.
Well managed company.
Technically TJL seemed to have bottomed out, and reversal is on the cards IMO.
Investing in such companies is one strategy, and some prefer lower PER to maximize capital gains.
I dont find fault in both strategies.
Its how one chooses to invest.

APLAs only weakness is poor dividend policy and liquidity, but then one can complain why REXP trading low PER with better dividend policy but a low liquidity share.

APLA will have to work on 2 things and REXP will have to work on one thing.

TJL is a very good share. It might be trading at high PER. But I put TJL in same High PER shares.

MT i look at 40s.
Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.”
