TJL is at a double bottom.

As Shark said reversal needs confirmation.

EU to allow SL apparel to source fabric from ASEAN

TJL and MGT should do well going by high export earnings recorded so far

http://www.ft.lk/front-page/EU-to-allow ... /44-644262

>Exporters predict earnings will hit $ 5 b this year, expect higher revenue in 2018
>Wants to target Germany and other EU countries to offset Brexit impact
>Hails liberalisation measures and legal reforms outlined in Budget 2018

Any chance of seeing further downside for TJL technically.

looks as if a DT completion with a target to 38 and to 42.

we also see a remote possibility to 30-28.

it would be interesting to wait and watch in the coming quarters.

most predicted a turnaround happening, starting this quarter.

apparel exports to EU see rapid growth

“In the Apparel sector too books of exporters are getting filled up and they are expecting bigger assignments next year.”
Apparel exports to EU increased by only 2% from January to September 2016 in comparison to 2015. After receiving EU GSP Plus, apparel exports to EU from January to September this year compared the same period last year at US $ 1.5 billion, has increased by a huge 11.3% to US $ 1.67 billion.

Today I exited from TJL including my longterm holdings (some of them Avg 10.20 and 29.30 and 40.00) . I believe US GSP issue will be adverse impact on TJL since their majority of the export to the US market.

The United States yesterday declined to extend its global preferential tariff system, which will now expire on Sunday but the development is likely to have a mixed impact on Sri Lankan exports as it does not cover major sectors such as apparel and tea but could hit some manufacturing segments such as plastic.

This is why my broker was recommending me to buy MGT. Those who saw the US pref tax expiration in the corner started to sell TEXT shares...

Yep Shark...
Weekly candle ended like a reversal candle. However, next week need the confirmation.
Regarding volume bear trend is weak and RSI remain in oversold area after 2012 (after 6 years) in weekly chart.
COP is still matters as cotton price went up again. US GSP issue also there, however thoroughout last few months apparel exports earnings were raised by two digits in YoY basis.
