Although ALUM is trading at a higher valuation 17 level would be a good opportunity as said in my previous post, we could look at 15 levels as an accumulation point ....

The key is to enter in this sector.

Can some one do a bit of home work on this where the 3 players are concerned.

I have compiled some information from their financial reports ( there is only one AR available in CSE ).
Decline in Aluminum price & electricity are favorable to ALUM, It will reflected in their next quarter reports. but, the present government cuts down infrastructure development & focus on fundamental issues. It may have some negative impact in their results. for long hold, It should be OK.

Hayleys acquired in 2010
listed in CSE in March 2014
IPO price 14/-
lowest price 13.9/-
highest price 18.5/-
EPS 0.44/- for 1st quarter of 2015
P/E ratio 9.91
NAVS 5.65
ROE 30.42 %

Thanks a Mil, JAS
ROEs are encouraging last 2 years up 30% back to back.
Thats a good achievement.

ALUM would be a growth stock, and may double .... thats my expectation.
We may feel ALUM is trading 10 times PER, should get adjusted in the longer run.

Given 3 dividends equaled to 1Rs, and thats something.
Hope they would continue in similar fashion.

Aluminum Caps Biggest Two-Day Drop Since 2011 on China Outlook
By Debarati Roy - 7 May 2015 11:09:45, Bloomberg Business.

Aluminum capped the biggest two-day drop in more than three years on concern that a sputtering economy will erode demand in China, the world’s top consumer of industrial metals.

The Asian nation’s total imports in April are forecast to fall for the sixth straight month. according to a Bloomberg News survey of analysts. On Wednesday, aluminum slumped 2.9 percent, the most in two years. A day earlier, the metal reached a 20-week high, partly on bets that China will expand stimulus to bolster the economy. The trade statistics and U.S. employment figures are due Friday.

“The market is very concerned about China, and the trade data will be a good indicator of the health of the economy,” Tai Wong, the director of commodity products trading at BMO Capital Markets Corp. in New York, said in a telephone interview. “Also, tomorrow’s jobs data will be a crucial piece of information” in assessing when the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates, he said.

Aluminum for delivery in three months fell 2 percent to settle at $1,883 a metric ton at 5:50 p.m. on the London Metal Exchange. In two days, the price tumbled 4.8 percent, the most since Nov. 1, 2011. On Tuesday, the commodity reached $1,978.25, the highest since Dec. 10.

Copper rose 0.2 percent to $6,400 a ton ($2.90 a pound) on the LME. On Wednesday, the metal fell for the first time in nine sessions, snapping the longest rally in almost a decade.

Lead and tin declined in London, while nickel and zinc advanced.

Copper futures for July delivery fell 0.3 percent to $2.918 a pound on the Comex in New York.
