How much aluminium prices went up in Q4? What was the impact on COGS or GP% of ALUM?

Another clear example where people tend to overestimate the influence of one single known factor. While there are also many other important factors (not known) that influence the subject matter of concern, here the profits.

Good that a fundamental accumulation is happening. There was a strategic buying of 1Mn @ 23/- as well.

Touched 24 :D few weeks ago.
But not 25 my target....

So lets start looking at next phase.....

Trading around 9 PER

on a neg side CBSL wants private credit to reduce....
Alum would like to see USD stabilizes perhaps down a bit.

ALUM may be trading in closer to 9PER but this sector should show more bullishness going forward.

on positive side ALUM has proved us wrong last quarter when it had performed well than many of us expected :)

Those who wish to enter should carefully evaluate and proceed with caution..... 22.50-21 range could be fine, however upcoming qtr could provide direction

As per my research better to collect slowly without any noise in a price weakness.

I can remember how strong Shark believed on ALUM, same as myself with TKYO.

ALUM also was my choice till that land transaction happened with which I got carried away

World Aluminum prices soars.....

ALUM has corrected from 25 to 21.

Price looks ok to initiate a BUY. with 2nd and 3rd LOT buying to carry out later.

We see Aluminium prices (WAP) risen from 1700 to 1900 range June QoQ.

Quarterly Net Earnings dropped from 104 Mil to 43Mil QoQ.

owing to WAP increase, rupee devaluation effect, distribution expenses and borrowing cost increase.

ALUMEX topline growth is still visible.

Private sector credit growth is very important ..... and this is what CBSL trying curb as they see a bubble being formed :D

The correction taking place right now would be an opportunity for some.

Let us see the upcoming quarter performance.
