RICH was a good call Value .
But 28% is too much for a single counter I think.

Value, BW and other experts ;

A question for you guys

ALLI & CFIN - both EPS around Rs 21/22

P/E around 3.8

CFIN very poor D/E where as ALLI got excellent D/E

But ALLI trading around Rs 74 and CFIN trading around Rs 89

So which one got more room for share price appreciation ??? *-:)

Thanks in advance ..... :ymbringiton:

Hope you have considered differences in No of shares issued.

What makes the difference between ALLI and CFIN is the consistency in performance. In this aspect, CFIN is far better.

Yeah based on D/Y, ALLI is more attractive.

Both are highly undervalued. I have given the fair value of CFIN.

Both might pick up based on favourable circumstances.

But with a LT view, I prefer CFIN due to reasons I have listed under my analysis, just below recommendation section.

Actually PAT, i dont believe charts.. so i dont believe hard to brek or resistance..

when the company reports a good profit and good dividend, they can beat anything.. CFIN,VFIN, ALLI if they continue their profit growth for 17/18, they may pass 100 easily .. :-B

Yup, VFIN is very attractive too. I need to see VFIN the same way CFIN is assessed.

But the size of the establishment matters a lot. The way CFIN grows with its 4 BN+ profit base is impressive.

When the absolute numbers are small, percentage calculation becomes less meaningful.

We need to put LOLC, CFIN, PLC and LFIN into one group.....and these should lead in valuations imo within the sector.

CFIN is a solid stock but as I said earlier a big sell off recently made the stock a laggard in the market. ALLI could have a more chance for catching up CFIN price because it is newly coming into attention of course it had a bearish run after the sub division.

Value masters have great opportunity in some strong finance companies but we cannot expect sudden breakout in the sector in the very short run. At the moment, some finance companies are good for value investors and growth investors. Traders also will have opportunity once market or finance group becomes very strong or when they have sudden momentum. However, time to time there could be individual winners in the sector. Is CFIN also going to be another winner in the group? I have kept under my radar this group as well. We should separate strong finance companies from the rest of the group. We should not ignore some emerging ones as well.
Company, stock market, politics and the economy are four different things.
