Public Sector Borrowing has to come down, which could be part of the problem .... to bring it down. This added pressure should be solved immediately .... to some extent....

Public sector borrowing (and interest rates through that) will come down,

If the government go for another USD bond issue as done recently...

If the loss making SOEs can reduce losses notably airlines, CEB, railways...

If the government income increases by means of effective and simple taxes and tax administration

If the national budget deficit falls...

If the inflation declines....

If the private sector borrowing falls...

If the government go for a PPP with regard to some of the underperforming SOEs such as Mattala airport, Hambantota port. Listing some of the SOEs..

Etc

seems impossible target's achieving in one goal ....
