Sell CTC & Buy LFIN - WHY?

Postby stocks hunter » Tue May 12, 2015 7:25 pm

Take a look at the two counters.

Dividend paid in year 2014 - CTC - Rs48.05
DY Yield - 4.75%

Dividend paid in year 2014 - LFIN - Rs6.50
DY Yield - 3.55%

Just look at the PE, PBV of these two counters. Can you expect CTC sales to grow in future. I don't expect it to happen if not they have venture in to a different sector. There's not much different in the DY as well. We can predict a better future for LFIN than CTC and expect a good dividend from the counter in future as well.

Most of all do you want to make money out of poor cancer patients?

This is only my idea.I don't know CTC will come with any kind of issues or not.......... Think twice.

LFIN is on the way nicely to achieve its long term goal of Rs300/. Mind you minimum dividend of Rs6.50 is due for the month of May is on the cards as well.

CTC as SH said is an unethical business.

But in valuation terms LFIN is a far better choice if you compared with CTC.

Aha some sort of selling is happening in this over valued counter. No body can argue that this is a high dividend paying counter now. That is history. Still you get lots of counters that are doing well, consistancely paying dividend and DY is well above 5.0%pa.

Best time to rotate your stocks. Look at over valued, under performing, low DY, stocks in your PF and rotate with fundamentally sound, future promissing STARS before the real BULL phase commence.

Back to the place where it deserved. All over valued counters will have to pay the penalty this time, since we have loads of performing companies which carries PE multiples below 10 and PBV below 2. Most of these companies will have a prospective future as well and currently in under performing situ.

We report you decide.

Still you are entitle for a DY of 5.0% if you invest in LFIN today. After the subdivision perhaps this may reach Rs120 - Rs130 levels in short term.

Look at the speed CTC is coming down. There are reasons for this. This Govt is fully against the tobacco sales. They any how managed to implement the 80% pic.warning on ciggeratte packets, which was delayed for so many years.

Look at the glyphosate issue. Many chemical companies had pay the penalty coz Glyphosate is a fast moving high margin product to them. So chemical companies like CIC,LANKEM etc... may get the hit up to some extent.

To my hard feelings CTC will have a very tough time ahead coz they were against the former health minister now president with regard to Pic.warning matter.

If I have CTC with me, my plan is simply like this.(assume I have 100 CTC shares with me)

Sell CTC 100 @Rs920 = Rs92,000/

Buy LFIN @Rs204 = 450 shares

Dividend entitlement = Rs10/share
= Rs4500/

Sub division entitlement = 450/shares

After subdivision total LFIN shares = 900

Assume after subdivision LFIN trading price = Rs110

I will reinvest the dividend of Rs4500 = 4500/110

= 40shares.

Total LFIN holding = Rs940 shares.

If we assume LFIN to continue with present earnings in future(This will grow in future)

Present EPS = Rs31.51

Present NAV = Rs114.46

After subdivision EPS adjustment for subdivision = Rs15.75
NAV for subdivision adjustment = Rs57.23

There for even at Rs110 levels the PE of LFIN after subdivision will be around 6.9times and PBV will be around 1.9.

Hence can assume there is a very good chance of LFIN to go above Rs110 levels after subdivision provided the share is trading at lower price levels which is in reach of many investors and backed by strong fundamentals.

* LFIN is in a future growing banking sector and CTC has a gloomy future. If earnings drop dividends may also drop in future.

(These are only my assumptions. share prices may vary according to the company performances as well as other outside factors.Final decision is yours. Consult a stock broker or any knoledgeble person before take a decion. I just want to share my thoughts.)
